Botox® and Dysport® are neurotoxins (forms of botulinum toxin type A produced by the bacterium Clostridium botulinum) that temporarily block muscle contraction. They are FDA approved for minimizing fine lines and wrinkles and are indicated for temporary improvement of frown lines, forehead lines and “crows feet” (lateral eye lines). Effects last an average of 3-4 months.

Sculptra®
Sculptra Aesthetic is an FDA-approved injectable filler that can smooth deep wrinkles like marionette lines and reverse volume loss like sunken cheeks and chin wrinkles. It’s not recommended for use as a lip or under-eye filler.
Sculptra is made of poly-L-lactic acid (PLLA), a biocompatible synthetic material that adds volume and stimulates new collagen production within and underneath your skin and fat pads, to improve your results over time. The best results appear four to six months post-treatment. Because results improve so gradually, it won’t be obvious to anyone else that you’ve had something done. Sculptra requires patience. You’ll likely need multiple treatments over a few months to achieve your desired result.
KYBELLA®
Kybella is an FDA approved injectable that contours and improves the appearance of submental fullness (double chin). Submental fullness can distract from the face leading to an older, heavier look. This area of the face is often resistant to diet and exercise alone and can even be caused by genetic factors. Injectable deoxycholic acid works by breaking up and destroying fat cells. Often, several treatments may be required however, once the aesthetic response is achieved, re-treatment is not expected. The result is a more youthful, defined jawline.
